or at least a good website where they have like photography assignments that you can post and get feedback on? I like doing photography as my hobby and just taking whatever pictures I want but sometimes I also want to have a lil challenge!

Although a living room may look bright to our eyes it doesn’t “look” the same to a camera. The combination of the human eye and brain shames the most sophisticated camera. From the list of Scenes choose ‘Domestic interior at night, subjects lit by campfire or bonfire’ and ISO 400 and then look at the f-stop/shutter speed combinations. At f1.4 you see a shutter speed of 1/60 sec. and if you’re using a typical 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 zoom at f3.5 your shutter speed will be approximately 1/10 sec. and at f5.6 its only 1/4 sec.
